Michelle recently gave an interview to that tome of all things geeky, Wizard Universe. She told them all about her recent love for Star Wars!
“The original
Star Wars movies my ex-boyfriend got me to watch,” Ryan says. “I watched them and I thought that they were absolutely brilliant. I know that everyone is like, ‘You’re a bit slow there, love,’ but a few years ago I watched them and thought they were brilliant.”
If this were 1999 at any point before May I'd take that sentiment and cuddle up with it and ask her to marry me, like, immediately. But, it's not. It's 2007 and those prequel movies have come and gone and with them, all remaining vestiges of innocence from my pathetic suburban childhood. No, but I'm not bitter. No bitterness here. None at all. Let me think of something positive to say. Um, the Emperor was cool?
She also likes comic books and video games! She's either a really cool girl or her PR team coached her on the intended audience for the interview. Again, if this was 1999, I'd go with the former in a heartbeat. But, alas, meesa no think soooo!
