Michelle Claire Ryan is a well known English actress. She was born in
Enfield, Greater London on April 22nd, 1984 and is best known for
her work playing Zoe on the popular BBC1 soap opera "Eastenders."
She joined a local theatre group when she was ten years old and worked
with the group until age fifteen when she was picked to participate in
"Eastenders." She first appeared on the long running show in September
of 2000. Her character Zoe became extremely popular but she left the
show in 2005 to pursue a career in film and theatre.
She appeared in several renowned plays, including a run of "Who's the
Daddy?" at the esteemed King's Head Theatre.
In February of 2006, she landed a role in the independent film
"Cashback." This led to roles in other small films such as "Mansfield
Park" and playing opposite Carmen Electra in "I Want Candy."
She came back to television to perform in a modern day retelling of
the Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story called "Jekyll" for the BBC. More
recently, it was announced that she landed the lead role in NBC's "The
Bionic Woman". The series makes it's debut in the 2007 fall season.
Michelle has been chosen as one of FHM's 100 sexiest women in 2002,
2004, 2005 and 2007. She achieved her highest ranking of fourth in the
2005 edition.
She cites the 1992 film "The Last of the Mohicans" as her favorite
movie of all time.
